Welcome to Grimsthorpe Castle Park and Gardens. This website contains lots of information to both help you plan your visit and to discover something about this hidden Lincolnshire gem.

Please note that from October 1st 2008 the Castle Park and Gardens will be closed to visitors. We re-open on 2nd April 2009.

There is over 800 years of history to be uncovered within the boundaries of the park and the Grimsthorpe & Drummond Castle Trust would be delighted to share some of it with you. Variety and quality are in evidence here. Those interested in the architecture of the castle and its fine contents will discover a host of treasures, whilst younger visitors can enjoy the adventure playground and help to feed the tame red deer.

As events are booked for 2009 we will place information on the website. Those wishing to plan group visits for 2009 can also use this site to obtain some general information. I would suggest that you then contact me to finalise your plans.

The Trust's aim is to ensure that this unique landscape and all contained within it is protected for future generations to enjoy, whilst providing the opportunity to today's visitors to explore and make discoveries. I look forward to welcoming you to Grimsthorpe in 2009.
