The Trust wants people who live nearby to discover the delightful atmosphere of the park and gardens, and we have priced the season ticket so that it has effectively paid for itself after two or three visits. This means that families, couples and responsible dog walkers are able to pop into the park for an hour or two on our standard open days to make the most of any good weather when they have free time. In 2014 you can help the Grimsthorpe Trust even more by using GIFT AID when you obtain your season ticket. (Click the link above to find out more).
Grimsthorpe is a historic house, park and garden in Lincolnshire, open in the summer for adults and children to enjoy the countryside, nature and history.
We are certain that there's been a garden at Grimsthorpe since the early 1500s and maybe even before that. They have evolved over the years and there are still subtle changes taking place. The gardens never appear crowded and there are plenty of quiet corners where you can relax. There are also huge expanses of lawn where younger visitors can let off steam and have fun.
