Grimsthorpe Season Tickets 2013

If you are considering becoming a Season Ticket holder for 2013 I would like to bring some new information to your attention.

GIFT AID

Grimsthorpe is a registered charity (No 507478 in England & Wales and SC039364 in Scotland). You can now help the Trust even more in its work to maintain the estate for the enjoyment of all by making a Gift Aid donation when you obtain your season ticket.

If you haven’t come across this before with charitable giving, here’s how it works.

Instead of buying the Season Ticket you make a donation 10% more in value than the normal season ticket price. If you are a UK taxpayer we can then reclaim 25 pence in the pound back from the government on the total value of your ticket for use by the Trust.

For example, a family ticket (£40) with donation will cost you a total of £44 for the season (similar to three day tickets). When the Trust has claimed the 25p in the pound it ends up actually benefiting by an extra £13.29 – all for just an extra £4 from you. This extra income can be used to continue the conservation work carried out in the park.

This could add up to a significant sum, as there are a lot of season ticket holders using the grounds. Once you have visited 3 or 4 times the original cost of purchase is recouped and you can of course continue to use it throughout the season. (One person used theirs 32 times in 2012!)

In addition you can still enjoy one free visit to Easton Walled Gardens, 5% discount of most purchases in our shop and one visit to the Castle itself.

If you need to know more you can contact me by phone or by email from this page.

Don't worry if you are unable to GIFT AID your Season Ticket. It will still be possible to buy a ticket at the standard prices.
