Lots of people have contacted me to ask about public transport links to Grimsthorpe.
The only way to gain access easily to this wonderful historic house is by car, bike, on foot, as part of coach party or by using a local taxi service. Taxis do operate from Bourne, Grantham and Peterborough, but unfortunately they can be expensive.
You should also be able to register with the CALL CONNECT service that has recently started. This is a request bus service that runs within the region Monday to Saturday 7am to 7pm. Once registered you can call them and book a time for collection at your preferred location. They will then drop you off in Grimsthorpe village (or anywhere else in the region). Don't forget to arrange a collection time! The service can be used by anyone who has registered and is free for holders of bus passes.
Contact Call Connect for more information or call 0845 234 3344 to book your ride.
