Please note that the above menus are available for pre-booked groups only. It is essential you discuss your catering requirements with us before booking. We will endeavour to make adjustments to your needs in the week prior to your arrival, but reserve the right to make a charge for any meals cancelled during this period.

It is important that we are notified in advance about any allergies or food intolerances when pre-booked catering has been arranged. Please ensure that all members of your party are aware of the meal choice on offer.

If you are arriving by coach let us know if you will be purchasing refreshments for your driver.

For groups not wishing to pre-book, the tea room serves light refreshments on standard open days, with meals being made to order (subject to availability). You will be taking 'pot luck' along with our day visitors.

Please note that if you are visiting on a day when the site is closed to the general public, all catering must be pre-ordered.

Gardens
We are certain that there's been a garden at Grimsthorpe since the early 1500s and maybe even before that. They have evolved over the years and there are still subtle changes taking place. The gardens never appear crowded and there are plenty of quiet corners where you can relax. There are also huge expanses of lawn where younger visitors can let off steam and have fun.
