This year celebrates 300 years since the birth of Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown, one of England’s greatest landscape gardeners.
Join us for a leisurely walk in the park, which was created at the time Brown was as the height of his career. As well as enjoying the views and the fresh air we hope to find out more about how the land was shaped and planted to produce the ‘ideal’ English landscape. The walk is not strenuous but suitable clothing and a reasonable level of fitness is needed for this two hour visit. Places must be booked by email. Walk will go ahead in all but the worst weather.
Meet in the car park for 1830 start
Admission £5.00 to include refreshment
There are a limited number of only 15 places avaialble for this event so please email me to avoid disappointment.
