To go cycling at Grimsthorpe is easy. Either bring your own bikes or hire them from us.
From 10.30am every open day it will be possible to hire cycles and set off to explore the waymarked park trails. You will receive free helmet loan and a map to help find your way around when you hire a cycle from us.
The route has been designed with families in mind and avoids steep inclines and rough terrain wherever possible. The full trail is 15.5km (9.6 miles) long. Families with young children may wish to use the PINK trail (5km/3.1 miles), or simply cycle along the tarmac road from the castle into the park and back (11.8km/7.3 miles). Two other options are 14km and 9km in length.
